That’s right…hit the 100 mile mark today!
Boy did I have to work for it. The ascent up to Mt. Albert was a moderate hike. The last half mile was straight up. Rock scrambling at its best. Stopped for lunch and enjoyed the view.
My target today was Rock Gap Shelter. Only 12.1 miles. I made it in 6 hours. I decided to push on. The climb out of Wallace Gap wasn’t a walk in the park. Total mileage for the day…14.2.
I’m camped on a ridge line. Mountains on both sides. No other hikers are here. Boy is it beautiful!
Tomorrow…1.7 miles to resupply.
And Lazy Hiker Brewing.
Awesome job!! Watched the video on YouTube but I have no idea how to comment there! Looks beautiful Sad about all the burned parts of the forest, but sometimes you need it for new growth! Keep up the good work!
