Awoke to the slightest hint of sunshine and rising cloud layer. The 100% humidity has just about everything wet or damp. I am still warm, and dry at night, but I hope today is the day the weather turns.

Boy. Howdy!
Today was the most awesome and glorious day of hiking yet. If I were to dream of all the things I wanted to experience on the AT, today contained most of the bullet points.
I climbed two large grassy balds, hiked through meadows, along a raging river, awed at two waterfalls, left another State behind, passed 400 miles, and felt strong after 19.2 miles. I may not remember every day of the AT, but I will remember today.
No matter how much yesterday sucked. How much the weather has been horrible. How much mud you’ve slogged through. How tired you are.
Just remember…today is awesome!
