It rained all night. Probably two inches or more. I stayed dry and warm in the tent.

The morning was spent hiking in the mist and fog. I’m sure there were amazing views, but I didn’t get to see them. All I saw was my feet as I navigated the rocks.

The miles went by fast because I had a destination. We were headed to Devils Backbone Brewing Company. It’s just a few miles off trail and they allow hikers to camp at the property.

The hitchhike in was easy. The afternoon and evening were spent eating, drinking, and having a great time.  I really enjoyed hanging out and relaxing.

Tomorrow…20 miles to Waynesboro. Where Mrs. Growler will be waiting!
