The plan had been to start hiking about noon. However, OC’s family had a late flight and was able to find a parking spot. So we ended up on a patio…you guessed it…eating and drinking. 

We stayed most of the afternoon. Finally leaving about 4:30. We had ten miles to hike before dark. No problem for us experienced hikers. 

I was even early into bed!
